STAR Assessments Begin Aug. 31
Superintendent's Department
District 70 Kindergarten through eighth grade students will be tested via online 30-minute STAR assessments for reading and math in the fall, winter and spring.
Thanks to computer-adaptive technology, students complete STAR Enterprise assessments quickly, and teachers and administrators receive the results immediately.
STAR assessments are scheduled for the weeks of August 31st, December 7th and again in the Spring (Highland April 26th and 27th and elementary schools the week of May 9th).
STAR assessments provide students, teachers and parents with information that will guide teaching and learning. STAR results will be sent home with elementary students later in September and will be available online for parents of Highland students.
