Butterfield Butterfield Clothing Sale Oct 13 & 14
The Butterfield New and Gently Used Toy and Clothing Sale runs from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 13 and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 14 at Butterfield School.

District 70 District 70 Blood Drive on Oct. 3 New Content Icon
District 70 is hosting a blood drive from 3-8 p.m. on Oct. 3 at Rockland School, 160 W. Rockland Road, Libertyville. (Search link for Oct. 3 at Rockland School.) 

The blood drive supports a Rockland School family with a 19-month-old daughter diagnosed with HUS (Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome). Part of her treatment is to receive blood transfusions, which already have helped keep the toddler fighting.

New business partner Northshore Academy of Martial Arts is offering a self-defense, character development program for three-weeks for $25, with 100 percent of the proceeds being donated to District 70.

Checkmark Learn About The Opioid Epidemic
Learn about the opioid epidemic and the impact opioids are having on the community at a free event at 7 p.m. on Sept. 28 at the Libertyville Civic Center. Speakers Lake County State Atty. Mike Nerheim and Lake County Coroner Howard Cooper will talk about the epidemic of opioids and the impact the drugs are having on Libertyville. District 70 Rocktoberfest 2017
Come out and have some fun!! Connect with other D70 parents and listen to 2 great bands! at Rocktoberfest which begins at 7 p.m. on Oct. 13 at Autin's Fuel Room in Libertyville.
Rocktoberfest 2017 will raise money for Libertyville School District 70's Family Associations at all five schools, along with Libertyville Multiple Sclerosis Society, and Camp Duncan. (You can say where you want your funds to go when you buy your tickets online at rocktoberfundraiser.brownpapertickets.com.)
You and your friends will enjoy the music of featured bands Charlie Fox Trot and Hold The Pickle.
*Tickets need to be purchased ahead on time, online and will not be sold at the door!
Tickets are $20 a person and 100% of the proceeds will be split amongst the three non-profits AS DIRECTED BY YOU-the ticket purchasers.
