What if I register for a class, and later my child wants to change that class? Before May 24, send a detailed message to summerregistration@d70schools.org about what class your child is currently enrolled in, and what class they would like to change to. YES! Schedules WILL NOT be mailed after you register because they are available online. We can help students find their classes much more efficiently if they have their schedules available. Students must retain the schedule until they have it memorized. Be aware that the schedule will print in the order you register, not necessarily in the order of the classes. For example, if you register for period 4 first, your period 4 class may be first on your schedule. The schedule will include the fees paid for the classes. We suggest you print and file a copy of the schedule for tax purposes. Yes. An updated schedule will be e-mailed to you after online registration ends. PLEASE PRINT THIS SCHEDULE AND BRING IT WITH YOU THE FIRST WEEK OF SUMMER SCHOOL! Your updated schedule will contain any classroom changes, a cover letter with other important information, and a map. We STRONGLY encourage all students to take the bus. Student pick up and drop off will be GREATLY impacted by planned construction projects around Highland and Rockland this summer. Busing is available to all students for a fee. Fees are $45 for one way, or $90 for both ways per student. You will have 5 stops to choose from: Adler Park School, Butler Lake Park, Central Park, Copeland Manor School, or Overholser Park. You sign up for busing when you register for summer school. Once you have signed up, bus details and passes will be mailed to your home before summer school begins. There will be NO busing refunds once summer school starts. There will be a $20 cancellation fee per student regardless of the number of classes registered for. The last day to cancel and receive a full refund (minus $20) will be Friday, May 24. To cancel your child's classes, please e-mail summerregistration@d70schools.org with all pertinent information. You will receive a confirmation e-mail after the classes have been canceled. Cancellations done between Saturday, May 25 and Tuesday, June 11 will receive a refund of 50% of the total tuition charged. Cancellations after June 11 will not receive a refund. There will be no bus refunds once summer school begins. The locations are the same as last year: Pre-Kindergarten and Pre-1st Grade at Rockland School, and grades 2-8 at Highland Middle School.
