This page is for KINDERGARTEN** and NEW STUDENTS in grades 1-8 who will be attending D70 schools for the first time in the 2018-2019 school year. The information parents need to complete the process is contained herein. Please start with the online "Pre-Registration Form" below. **In order for the District to plan for adequate staffing for kindergarten classes, your urgent attention to completing all steps as soon as possible is requested.

Steps for Registration
1 Pre-Registration
Completion of the online Pre-Registration form is the first step to beginning the registration process for a new student. If you do not have internet access, please make an appointment to come to the District Office for assistance: 847-362-9695.

2 Complete Required Forms
Required forms include the following:
  • Residency Requirements AND provide 3 proofs of residency
  • Family Background Form
    • Kindergarten: Sections A & C
    • Grades 1-8: Sections A & B
  • Consent for Exchange of Information - Grades 1-8 ONLY

3Provide Original Birth Certificate
A Birth Certificate, with an official seal, must be brought to the registrar. A hospital certificate is not sufficient. (We will make a copy and return the original.)

4District Registrar
Call the District Office at 847-362-9695 to make an appointment to meet with the registrar to go over forms, verify residency, copy the birth certificate, and answer any questions you may have.

5PowerSchool (Infosnap) Online Registration
After steps 1, 2, 3 and 4 from above are complete, you will receive an email with a link to the PowerSchool Registration site (formerly known as Infosnap) with your personal "code" to complete the online registration process. Registration is not complete until this step has been finished. Please give this your urgent attention.

6Kindergarten Orientation

2018-2019 Kindergarten Students and Parents: Plan to attend Kindergarten Orientation on April 17, 2018 from 6-7 PM at your child's school. You will have the opportunity to meet one of the kindergarten teachers, as well as other staff members, and you will learn more about the kindergarten program.

AUPG Digital Learning Information
Parents grant permission for internet use via the Powerschool Registration (formerly Infosnap) online registration process. Students sign an acceptable use form in their homeroom class at school.

This packet contains information about USDA income guidelines for 2018-2019 to be used in determining whether your family is eligible for free or reduced price meals. It also includes the District 70 Waiver of Fees form and the Application for Free or Reduced Meals. Download the packet, print the forms, then complete them and bring to the District Office with appropriate documentation.
