The Finance and Operations Department manages District 70's financial and accounting responsibilities. The department also oversees operations of the schools and the district office, construction projects, along with food service and student bus transportation.
Accounts Payable;
Annual audits and financial reporting to the Illinois State Board of Education;
Bookkeeping;
Budgeting and tax levy;
Buildings and grounds;
Construction and bids;
Financial forecasting;
Food services (including Free & Reduced Lunch);
Payroll (including teacher extra duty pay and substitute pay);
Purchasing;
Rental of buildings;
School fees and fee waivers;
Transportation with Lakeside bus service.
