COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic for Teens

District 70 is partnering with Jewel-Osco to hold an optional  'Tween COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic on May 25 at Highland Middle School for D70 children between the ages of 12 and 15. This will be the community's first COVID vaccination clinic for children, with D70 hosting the only communitywide adult COVID vaccination clinic earlier this year.

District 70 parents of children who qualify for the age group for the emergency approved Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine were notified earlier this month to set up appointments for the vaccination through District 70. The clinic also was opened up to children in Green Oaks, Rondout, and students attending parochial schools, St. Joseph's and St. John's.

The second dose of the vaccine will be given in June.
