Bullying
Highland

Bullying of any type should be reported immediately. Bullying can cause a victim to feel upset, afraid, ashamed, embarrassed, and anxious about going to school. Bullying can take various forms, including but not limited to: verbal or physical harassment, threats, intimidation, stalking, physical violence, sexual harassment, sexual discrimination, sexual violence, theft, public humiliation, destruction of property, or retaliation for asserting or alleging an act of bullying.

At Highland, it is our goal to promote a caring community through building strong moral and ethical character. This is a form for parents/guardians, students, and family members to anonymously report bullying incidents through the use of modern communication technologies.

Bullying behavior is frequently repeated unless there is intervention.

Please contact Kendall Miller, Dean of Students for additional information or if you feel the situation deserves immediate administrative attention.

If you have a concern regarding safety, please see the Safety Reporting Form.

For additional resources regarding Social/Emotional Supports and student safety, please see the HMS Social Workers' Website.

For more information about the 24/7 anonymous text crisis hotline, please see the TEXT - A - TIP informational page.
