Hello, my name is Caden Albaugh and I am a 6th Grade ELA teacher on the Maroon team here at Highland Middle School! Reading and writing have always come naturally to me, and they are crucial skills for navigating the world today. My goal is to instill in every student a love for reading and the writing skills necessary to succeed in the future. This will be my third year teaching and first year of teaching at Highland. I am incredibly excited to learn more about this community and become a part of it. I graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Secondary Education and having achieved the Senior Leadership Award for graduating among the top ten in my class. Outside of school, I like to read (naturally), but I also enjoy baking, photography, and biking.
