Transportation changes...

Transportation changes should be sent with your child in the morning.  A simple note in his/her folder or attached to his/her assignment notebook works perfectly!  At the end of the school day, our staff makes sure that over 250 students get to the right mode of transportation.  This is no easy task!  Transportation changes made after the school day has started makes dismissal time more difficult and puts students' safety at risk.  Only emergency transportation changes should be made after the school day has started.

If you have an emergency transportation change after your child has already left for school, you have a few options:

  • You can email your child's teacher AND the school office ( sgrayson@d70schools.org ) so that everyone knows where your child should be going after school.  The office will then alert the teacher or substitute teacher to the change.
  • You can call the Adler office at 847-362-7275 and let them know where your child should be going after school.  The office will then alert the teacher or substitute teacher to the change.

If your child normally attends Champions after school and you are changing his/her afternoon routine, please ensure that you alert us AND Champions to any after school changes.  Champions needs to hear directly from parents in order to not be charged for that day.

Hello! My name is Cheryl Marsh and it is great to be here for another year at Adler Park School. After many years of teaching third grade, I will be moving up to fourth grade!

I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Illinois State University and a master's degree from National Louis University in Curriculum and Instruction. While I consider Adler my home away from home, my real home is in Green Oaks with my husband, Kevin. I have two daughters, Stephanie (30) and Samantha (27). Samantha lives in Chicago and is an interior designer. Stephanie and her husband, Kyle, live in Northbrook and just had a baby girl named Sophie. In my spare time, I enjoy babysitting, reading, walking, playing pickle ball, and spending time with my family and friends.
