Welcome musicians! My name is Ms. Brown Thomas, and I'm happy to be your teacher! We are going to have an amazing year, and I can't wait for us to learn together! I'm looking forward to getting to know each and every one of you. 

I'm excited to join the D70 staff! As a graduate of Augustana and NEIU, I have degrees in Vocal Performance, Scandinavian Studies, K-12 music education, and a masters in Vocal Pedagogy. Voice is my main instrument, and I also play piano, ukulele, guitar, violin, oboe, clarinet, and tenor saxophone, as well as a variety of percussion instruments! I love all things musical theatre, eating ice cream by the pint, I Love Lucy, villains, and spending time with my fabulous family. At home, I have four beautiful children, a wonderful husband who teaches Theatre, English, and Speech at LHS, and a mischievous cat who loves to roam our neighborhood. Gratefully looking forward to the experiences we will share this year!
