Welcome!

I am very excited to be back at Highland Middle School this year. I have been teaching Language Arts and Literature for over twenty years. I graduated with a B.A. in English Education and a M.A. in Educational Technology.  The first ten years of my career were spent at the high school level in Ohio. I moved to Libertyville 16 years ago and have spent the last eleven years at Highland Middle School teaching sixth and eighth grade Language Arts and Literature. Both of my children have gone through District 70 and graduated from Libertyville High School. My hobbies include reading, walking my dog, traveling, and spending time with my family. I am looking forward to teaching your children this year.
