Our fourth-grade classroom is a room where children are encouraged to share their thoughts, ideas, and schoolwork. In our classroom, we acknowledge that everyone has similarities and differences and that learning opportunities should be reflective of students' individual needs.
  As a classroom teacher, Mrs. Jermakowicz embeds the District 70 Applications of Learning into all aspects of students’ learning. The Applications of Learning focus on helping students learn how to work on teams, use technology, make connections, communicate ideas, solve problems, and to be self-directed learners.  It is her intention that each student in the classroom recognizes that he/she is a vital part of the classroom community, which also extends into the Copeland and Libertyville communities.
