I am the music and band teacher at Adler Park School. This is my fourth year in District 70 and I am very happy to be part of the Libertyville community! I graduated from Elmhurst College where I played French Horn as my primary instrument. Prior to joining District 70 I taught music in Addison School District 4. I love working with students to strengthen their understanding of musical concepts, to learn to appreciate music, and to develop their everyday skills and understanding of the world. Each of these goals are accomplished through performing, responding, and connecting with music. When I am not in a rehearsal or teaching music I love to spend time with friends and family, enjoy the outdoors, and cook.
