Welcome to 4th Grade!

We are going to have an awesome year together!

My name is Michelle Bauer. I graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, and completed my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction through Concordia University. I have been teaching in District 70 since 2010. 

            During my free time, I like to travel, run after my kids, read, and cook.  I am very fortunate to have traveled to seventeen different countries.  My favorite destination is Italy, where I spent five months studying abroad.  I also got married in Italy! When I am not traveling my favorite pastime is reading.  This was my favorite way to end a long day, before I had Brooke and Brady.  Now I find myself busy occupying and playing with them.  It is wonderful to be a mom and I enjoyed my summer with them.
