Hello Butterfield Families!

This will be my 24th year at Butterfield School. I taught second grade for seven years and then came into my position as an Interventionist. I received my undergraduate degree from The University of Iowa and then went on to get my master's degree from North Park University. I love my job and all of the students that I get to work with each day (grades 1-5). I have so many fond memories of years past and am looking forward to forming so many new ones throughout the school year.
    I have a wonderful husband, Jeff, who is very supportive and a great dad to our two beautiful children, Ava (14) and Milania (12). Our two children keep us very busy and entertained at home. Ava attends Libertyville High School and Milania attends Highland Middle School. We have two furry family members as well... a dog named Blu (4) and Lucy (1)! We love to  vacation and spend a lot of time with our extended family.
    I look forward to working with your children and watching them reach their reading potential! It's amazing to see the progress made throughout the school year. It will be a great year!
