Mrs. Nyland's Landing Page

This is my 17th year teaching at Rockland! I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Illinois, and a Master's Degree in Teaching and Leadership from St. Xavier. I have taught third grade, second grade, and am now loving my time in first grade.

I grew up in Libertyville just like many of my students! I went to Butterfield and Highland before graduating from Libertyville High School. I now live in Grayslake with my husband Graeme, daughter Lucy (6), and son Miles (4).

I love coming to work and helping first graders learn new things everyday!
