Carol Janossy – Libertyville School District 70 – Orchestra
Some of you have expressed interest in purchasing a Kun shoulder rest. These are available at Classic Violins, Libertyville Music and on line at sharmusic.com. I have explained to the kids that because these will greatly aid them in holding their instruments in the proper position they are also very expensive. The children will need to take responsibilility for their care. If you purchase a Kun please purchase one that will fit appropriately, the vendor can guide you and be sure to purchase one that collapses so it fits in the case. If it does not fit in the case please purchase a pouch that fits on the case. Be sure to put your child's name on the Kun also. Feel free to contact me with questions or concerns.
